Why do you love the swagger movement?

Dear Friends -

Forbes is looking for the top 100 websites for women.  Here is what two friends of the swagger movement had to say about why they love The Girl’s Guide to Swagger website:

I use this site to discover ways women define themselves personally – dealing with difficult feelings, relationships, expanding awareness of their place in the world, expanding consciousness, finding resources and support to achieve their dreams and hearts’ desires.  Younger women are targeted and can find support for developing skills and finding ways to discover what their greatest dreams are. I  like the balance of the personal and professional views and the diversity of viewpoints to encourage women in becoming their authentic selves. we need to hear many voices; we need every woman’s unique gift to manifest and contribute to the peace and well-being of our world.

This is a site I constantly look to for the most cutting edge information on the issues that face women today. The owner and primary author, Cindy Brown, has a brilliant take on what it means to be supremely confident (swagger) and use that confidence in a positive and productive sense. The site covers ways to use our swagger in all facets of life in feminine terms – from career to spirituality to family and home. The constant flow of unique and relevant information – the kind that makes you nod your head and say, “I wish I had thought of that…” – is priceless. Dozens of female authors have contributed to the site, as well, from all walks of life and career. It’s a true mecca for women with a calling toward a new kind of feminism.

What keeps you coming back to the swagger website?  Will you share your thoughts with Forbes so that they will consider the swagger website as one of the top 100 for 2012? http://www.forbes.com/sites/jennagoudreau/2012/06/06/call-for-nominations-top-100-websites-for-women-2012/
